Definitions

"Mazio," "we," "us," or "our" means Mazio Studio LLC. "Site" means maziostudio.com. "You" or "Visitor" means any person who visits the Site, submits information through it, or otherwise communicates with us. "Client" means a Visitor who has signed a scope or retainer with us. "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable individual.

02

Plain summary

Mazio Studio LLC collects the contact details people send us through the Site, by email, or by phone, and uses them to reply, scope work, and deliver projects. We do not sell contact data, run advertising pixels, or feed third-party data brokers. The vendors we rely on are listed below.

03

Information we collect

Name, email address, phone number, company, and project notes submitted through the Fast Launch form or sent to us directly. Server logs from the Site host (IP address, request paths, user agent, timestamps) used for security and debugging. Stripe receives name, email, and phone number when a Client pays an invoice and returns the same fields back to us to reconcile payments. We do not collect government IDs, payment card numbers, biometric data, or browsing behavior across other sites.

04

How we use it

To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver agreed work, issue and reconcile invoices, and provide ongoing support to active Clients. We do not use contact data for unsolicited marketing, retargeted advertising, or list resale.

05

Legal basis for processing

We process Personal Information on three grounds: (1) the Visitor's request to be contacted, scoped, or supported, (2) performance of a contract once an Engagement begins, and (3) compliance with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations applicable to Mazio Studio LLC.

06

Data we receive vs. observe

Information you submit (name, email, phone, project notes) is received directly from you. Information generated automatically (server logs, IP address, request metadata) is observed by the Site as part of normal operation. Information returned from third parties (such as payment confirmation fields from Stripe) is received from those vendors. We treat each category with the same baseline care.

07

Sensitive personal information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, including racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, biometric data, precise geolocation, or government identifiers. There is no need to share information of that kind to scope or deliver our work, and we ask Visitors not to submit it through the Site.

08

Form spam and rate limiting

The contact form on maziostudio.com applies rate limiting that allows one submission per Visitor every ten minutes. This is used to prevent automated spam and abuse, not to profile Visitors.

09

Email tracking

Transactional emails are sent through Google Workspace. Standard mail-server delivery metadata is recorded by Google. We do not run open or click tracking, and we do not share the data with third parties for advertising.

10

Calendar and meetings

Discovery and project meetings are booked through Google Calendar and held over Google Meet. Calendar invitations may include the Visitor's name, email address, and any meeting topic provided. Google's privacy practices apply to information held within Google Workspace.

11

Phone calls

Phone calls between Mazio Studio LLC and Visitors or Clients are not recorded.

12

Subprocessors

We rely on two vendors to operate the business. Google Workspace stores name and email for Client communication and delivers transactional email, including contact-form submissions, through standard SMTP (google.com/policies/privacy). Stripe processes payments and retains name, email, and phone number for the financial record (stripe.com/privacy). Each vendor handles data under its own terms; reviewing them is recommended.

13

What we do not do

No advertising pixels. No cross-site tracking. No retargeting cookies. No sale of contact information to third parties. No use of Visitor or Client data to train external machine-learning models. No behavioral data brokerage of any kind.

14

Cookies

The Site uses only the minimum cookies required for it to function, such as session continuity and basic security. No advertising or analytics cookies are deployed on maziostudio.com.

15

Do Not Track

The Site does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals because we do not track Visitors across other sites in the first place.

16

Third-party links

Pages on the Site, including case studies and resources, may link to third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site before submitting information to it.

17

Data location

All Personal Information collected through the Site is processed in the United States by United-States-based vendors, including Google Workspace and Stripe. We do not transfer Personal Information outside the United States.

18

Sites we build for clients

This Privacy Policy covers maziostudio.com only. Websites, landing pages, and applications that we design and build for Clients have their own privacy policies, published under the Client's name and governed by the Client's own data practices, not by this policy.

19

Data retention

Contact records are kept for as long as a conversation, proposal, or engagement is reasonably active, and for up to two years after the last interaction so we can pick up follow-on work. Financial records associated with paid engagements are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. Server logs rotate within ninety days. Records can be removed sooner on request, subject to any legal retention requirement.

20

Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls on Google Workspace, vendor accounts protected by two-factor authentication, and encrypted transport (HTTPS) on the Site. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you without undue delay.

21

Disclosure to authorities

We will disclose Personal Information when compelled by valid legal process, court order, or applicable law. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we will push back on overbroad requests and notify the affected Visitor or Client before disclosure.

22

Business transfer

If Mazio Studio LLC is acquired, merged with another business, or sold in whole or in part, Personal Information held by us may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction. Any successor will be bound by the commitments in this policy until it is updated.

23

Your rights

On request to [email protected], we will confirm what contact information we hold about you, correct anything that is inaccurate, and remove it where there is no remaining legal or contractual reason to retain it. We respond within thirty days.

24

California residents

If you reside in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know the categories of Personal Information we collect, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Mazio Studio LLC does not sell Personal Information. To exercise a CCPA right, email [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA request."

25

Other US state residents

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others as new laws take effect — have rights substantially similar to those listed for California: the right to access, correct, and delete Personal Information, and the right to opt out of sale (which we do not engage in). Email [email protected] to exercise these rights.

26

Children

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and the adults running them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

27

Where we operate

Mazio Studio LLC is based in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and serves Clients across the United States. The Site is not directed to residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other regions outside the United States, and we do not solicit engagements from those regions.

28

Severability

If any provision of this policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.

29

Headings

Section headings in this policy are provided for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of any provision.

30

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes that affect Clients with active engagements will be raised in writing.

31

Contact
